Hey guys, Jamie sent me a link to compete on typing speeds. I blame AIM for the degeneration of my wpm. If it was an AIM conversation or sms texting, I bet I’d be so much faster.

I got a 64wpm : ( with 4 mistakes (damn!).
Jamie got 90-something with 4 mistakes.
Matt got a 79wpm with 5 mistakes.

check out the new ’street view’ on google maps. it’s absolutely amazing! see my office? who here has already found glitches?

also, it’s only in a few cities (ny, miami, san fran, las vegas, and denver) and on select streets (any street with a blue outline).

david choe does some pretty nice stuff. his whale in the dithers video was damn impressive. he’s releasing his new dvd ‘dirty hands’ this month with the vice guide to travel (they go to pakistan, yay!!!!). watch the trailer. thanks matt for the link.

industrial designer Tord Boontje is awesome. i’ve been collecting ideas for lampshades to make, his die-cut, ornate work is very inspirational. read his interview in artcrush. his work reminds me of Piper Shepard or whoever did the lace stencil torched out of car parts at the radical lace show (i’ll find his/her name soon).
